DNS translates website names into IP addresses. By switching to a faster, open DNS provider, you can bypass ISP-level blocks and enjoy unrestricted browsing.

Open WiFi Settings
Go to SettingsWiFi → Long-press your connected network → tap Modify Network

Change IP Settings
Check Show Advanced Options → change IP Settings from DHCP to Static

Enter DNS Servers
DNS 1
1.1.1.1
DNS 2
1.0.0.1
or use Google DNS: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Save & Test
Tap Save, wait a few seconds, then try opening the blocked site.

  3. 3Select Private DNS provider hostname
  4. 4Enter: one.one.one.one or 1dot1dot1dot1.cloudflare-dns.com

Open WiFi Settings
Go to SettingsWi-Fi → tap the (i) icon next to your connected network

Configure DNS
Scroll down, tap Configure DNS → select Manual

Add DNS Servers
Remove all existing DNS entries (tap the red ➖), then tap + Add Server

Click the menu (top-right) → Settings

Click Privacy and security in the left sidebar → select Security

Enable Secure DNS
Scroll down, find Use secure DNS → toggle it On

Select With Custom, then enter one of these:
Cloudflare
https://cloudflare-dns.com/dns-query
Google
https://dns.google/dns-query

Restart Chrome
Close and reopen Chrome, or type chrome://restart in the address bar ✅

Still not working?
  • Restart your phone or PC
  • Clear browser cache (Ctrl + Shift + Delete)
  • Try a different DNS provider (Cloudflare or Google)
  • Disable VPN if it's active
  • Test in Incognito / Private browsing mode
Internet became slower?
  • Revert DNS back to Automatic / DHCP
  • Try 1.1.1.1 — it's generally the fastest DNS globally
  • Make sure your IP Address is still set to Automatic / DHCP
Which DNS is best?

8.8.8.8 Google — most stable & reliable, widely trusted
